These sessions are designed for school age children with specialist needs including those who struggle to engage in school, those with autism or on the autism spectrum and those with sensory differences.
Our holistic approach has resulted in children being able to integrate back into the school setting whilst also improving their well-being and happiness.
We also support children and families through contributing to Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) and work with educational authorities.
The educational sessions are designed to develop:
- relationship building
- skill development
- an ability to share and participate in activities
- an ability to work and play with others
- a joy for learning
They are designed to be fun and interactive. They are person-centred.
Many individuals in school may struggle to sit in a classroom and undertake mainstream education. These sessions are designed to support individuals and help to develop all of the above. The sessions encourage movement, music/singing, activity participation and encourage individual self worth.
