Social Communication using Intensive Interaction

These sessions are aimed at supporting children and adults to develop the fundamentals of communication (Nind and Hewitt, 2001). We work with individuals with autism, complex needs and sensory processing differences and difficulties.

The sessions are 1:1.

The sessions use play and intensive interaction in order to develop the ability to enjoy being with another person, to communicate, to make choices, to concentrate, to share personal space, to build relationships, to be calm and feel safe.
